IIT Professors will now give free coaching to JEE students
A group of professors (IIT-Panels) will take responsibility for it so that the students who wish to get admission in IIT have a good hold on every subject. It is reported that JEE students will get this coaching from HRD Ministry's Self Prabha TV channel.
In this free coaching for JEE, the lectures of physics, chemistry, mathematics and biology will also be broadcasted. The responsibility of this project has been entrusted to IIT Delhi. However, IIT professors are also associated with this. IIT Delhi has recorded 600 hours of video content so far, which can be seen with the help of 'Self Prabha' and YouTube.
Apart from this, some central schools will also help in giving content. Currently, all lectures are in English but they are a plan to bring them in Hindi and other languages. These online platforms have been developed to provide quality education through free DTH TV channels, web portals and mobile apps. There is a DTH channel for every subject, which broadcasts lectures for two hours 11th and 2 hours 12th daily. It is repeated 6 times throughout the day. Soon you will be able to download these lectures to students. Swayamprabha.gov.in will be able to see their timings in this website.
